TRUMP again

He wants to arm teachers and raise the age to 21 to buy assault weapons. If the man had a brain, he wouldn't know what to do with it.

The age to purchase an assault weapon should be never. Gun manufacturers want to sell guns, but no law-abiding citizen needs for then. Sell them only to entities, police departments, and military.

Guns don't kill people, people kill people, but the gun allows or limits the amount of people who can be killed. We don't need assault weapons.

How many people have protected their family, by using a gun? How many children have been murdered. How many innocent people went to an entertainment event, when some fool started shooting. I don't know the figures, but I can say it is less than zero.

It's nice to say you protected your home, but did you ever need to? I have 3 times. That's an exception, not the rule. It isn't as easy as these macho men think it is. (1954, Ohio, robbed bowling alley, on run from police, ended up in my backyard, I was 10 years old and home alone, 1963, Ohio, burglar, 1967 Panama, civil war, my children and I didn't get evacuated to the Canal Zone, my husband was at school in New Jersey.)

Think you can shoot another human being? It isn't that easy. It isn't shooting a deer or rabbit. Want to shoot a walking talking real person? Trump only knows what he sees on TV. Life isn't a soap opera, or a cop show where the bad get killed and the good live. Life isn't scripted, when you are in that position, you don't know the outcome. It could be the last breath an evil person takes, or it could be your last breath. Are you ready to die?

Schools should put in the machines you walk through at airports, along with a couple actual police officers. It's going to cost, but will be cheaper than a child's life. If you arm teachers, will they be able to kill a child, even if that child has a gun in his hand?  A machine pings as the child walks through and the police stop them and find out what's making the noise.

Stop the gun manufactures, and their lobbies. No one in congress, or the white house, is going to stop them to save the lives of our children, there is too much money involved. They put that fool Trump in office. He's not the only one, note to Rick Scott, Governor of Florida, you lost my vote with yesterday's speech.  

We have a problem in this country and more guns won't solve it, they will cost more lives. When I was in basic training, we finished at the range, and the Drill Sergeants let us put our M-16's on automatic and fire away at old tanks and jeeps. Can you imagine what an automatic weapon can do to a child. It will tear them apart; can you imagine it being your child.

Get rid of Trump and all politicians who have ever taken a dime from gun manufacturers or the NRA. It won't make us lose our constitution right to own a gun, but it might stop another child's death.
